Bella's two loves - Elmo and Coby
Hi there! Sorry it's been a couple of weeks since the last post - not a whole lot going on on our side of the world. We've just been hanging out with our Bellarina, enjoying all the new things she's doing. It's amazing to us how fast she's growing - where does the time go?!?!? I took her in this week for her 18 month check-up. She now weighs 25 lbs. 8 ozs and is 32 inches tall!!! Her doctor said she is in the 75th percentile for both. Coby also had a little visit to the vet for his rabies vaccine and he weighs almost 55 lbs! It looks like we might have to put both of our kids on a little diet ;) Speaking of Coby, here are a few pictures of him and Bella as well as some pics of Bella with her other "love," Elmo :) Enjoy!

Boo!!!
We hope everyone had a happy halloween! We had a very busy and fun-filled weekend. On Thursday, we went to a command halloween party (where we dressed up as the Flinstones and brought our little Pebbles along.) Earlier that night, Bella dressed up as Minnie Mouse as we hung out with our neighbors and handed out candy to the kids (Americans and Italians) in the neighborhood. Trick or treating was done in our neighborhood on October 30th because on October 31st and November 1st we had Autumn Fest at the base. So, on Halloween we dressed Bella up again as Minnie and went to base to participate in some of the festivities (that included Bella eating a candied apple). Brian had duty that day so after Autumn Fest, Bella and i joined him for dinner where Bella decided she wanted to dance:

Our trip to Naples, IT
Hi there! It's been a while since we last made a post on our blog and i'd love to say that it's because i've been super busy, but i've actually just been slacking on it :) I apologize but in my defense, Bella and i have been gone for the past week (we decided to join Brian on his work trip to Naples). The trip was ok - Brian had to work a lot more than we expected, but Bella and i were just happy to be out of Sicily for a little while and got to enjoy great pizza and mozzarella cheese :) We also got to visit Pompei, the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Positano - all amazing places, which i'd definetly like to go back to and enjoy a little more with Brian. Bella is growing up so fast - it's hard to believe she's already 18 months. She is talking a lot more (and you can actually understand more of what she's saying now). She's becoming much more independent and LOVES to eat apples (or any fruit for that matter). Here are a few pictures from our trip. Enjoy!

Labor Day weekend
Hello all! Here are some pictures from our Labor Day weekend. We had a very nice time just relaxing around the house and going to the beach. Bella had such a great time at the beach, as you can see from the pictures. She also loves to eat watermelon :) And she's already getting into fashion (notice her wearing my Gucci purse), even though she has her own. My friend Maxine's mom sent her the little purse from Australia and it's adorable! I had to throw in a picture of Coby, of course. And there are a couple of Bella playing with soil in Linda and Hank's yard (our neighbors). Enjoy the pics.

Lots of summer fun :)
Hey there! Here are a few pictures from everything we did this summer. The first few are from my great friend's (and big sister in Delta Zeta), Jaclyn's wedding in Chapel Hill. Then, a few from when we went to visit our friends in Jacksonville, some from our trip to the National Zoo and DC, our trip to Kings Dominion, and finally a few from Brian and Nora's rehearsal dinner. We had such a great summer, it's hard to believe it's over now. We are finally settled in to our normal routine again. Bella is doing great - getting bigger and learning something new everyday. She can now say "I love you" and "night night." Her "I love you" actually sounds more like "I wuv you," which makes it that much cuter :) We hope you enjoy the pics and we'll try to update the blog a little more regularly now that we're back home!
